Ban Pong Community would like to invite you to participate in a charitable project to build a self-sufficiency learning center at Ban Pong Prachapat School, Tambon Boonglert, Amphur Mayyawadee, Roi Et Province. Unlike today’s boxy concrete buildings, the new learning center will be constructed as an adobe, using only eco-friendly earthy materials. This learning adobe will serve as a center to archive and disseminate local Ban Pong unique culture and wisdom to its community members and anyone who is interested. It will also serve as a training center for young Ban Pong villagers to learn how to farm organically like their grandparents, and an exhibition center to display organic products and folk crafts by these new generation rice farmers.
